The scheme’s goal is to supports early-career researchers from any discipline who are ready to design, plan and deliver their innovative research projects. Wellcome Trust expects that, through innovative projects, they will develop methodologies, conceptual frameworks, tools or techniques that could benefit health-related research to improve human life, health and wellbeing. In addition, by the end of the award, they will be ready to lead their independent research programme.
